Shelter Management

A player shelter. Players can operate their shelter and build buildings on every plot of land.
Every player starting the game begins in their own shelter, a central building surrounded by areas they can clear and expand into. Players can expand and upgrade their shelter, making it safer and bringing more areas under its control, making them safe for usage and cultivation.
Within the confines of the shelter and enclosed area, players can build a variety of buildings with unique appearances and functions, contributing to the growth of your shelter in different ways.

Examples of buildings players may build in their shelters as they customize it.
Please note that you have to have at least one fighter to start playing, or else your shelter will be overrun by zombies defenselessly. If a player ever ends up with zero Fighters, they will also be unable to manage their shelter, and it will be unable to operate with nobody taking care of it.

Farms are one of the most important buildings within the shelter. Without food, people starve. More than just survival, food is needed for fighters to level up and grow. However, fighters are necessary to operate the farms and gather the food, and without a fighter there to do the farming, the farms won't be able to produce food.
Each farm is independent, and fighters must be assigned and the food produced collected by the player manually. If the player doesn't collect food regularly, it will not be stored and will go to waste (please don't waste food, it's a post-apocalyptic world after all). The more farms are upgraded, and the stronger the fighter assigned there (or if the fighter has the right bonuses), the more a farm can produce and store.
Some of the base bonuses for different fighter rarities are shown below:
Rarity | Base Production Bonus | Food & Metal Storage Bonus | Drink Production and Corresponding Color Bonus |
---|---|---|---|
Common | 2% | 2% | 5% |
Uncommon | 5% | 5% | 10% |
Rare | 8% | 8% | 15% |
Epic | 12% | 12% | 20% |
Legendary | 18% | 18% | 25% |
The vitamin drink factory is one of the most important buildings in the shelter, as it can turn simple food into vitamin drinks. Researching the methodology to create useful mixes and how to produce them requires some time and effort, though! Be sure to upgrade this building so you can research more advanced formulas.

As you upgrade the production line, you will unlock the ability to research more advanced formulas:
Formula | Requirements to Unlock | Chance to Produce Common Drink | Chance to Produce Uncommon Drink |
---|---|---|---|
COMMON | Factory Level 1 | 100% | - |
UNCOMMON | Factory Level 2 | 50% | 50% |
FAST | Factory Level 3 | 100% | - |
LOW COST | Factory Level 4 | 50% | 50% |
EXTRA LOW COST | Factory Level 11 | 50% | 50% |
EXTRA FAST | Factory Level 19 | 100% | - |
As an important part of every fighter's breakfast (and lunch, and dinner), nutritious vitamin drinks help increase the strength of fighters, making them more effective on the field of battle. Different fighters prefer different drinks, and giving them their favorites will give them an even larger boost:
Vitamin Drink Name | Base Experience Provided | Total Exp After Same Color Experience Bonus | Same Color Experience Bonus (%) |
---|---|---|---|
Soda | 150 | 180 | 20% |
Tonic | 400 | 480 | 20% |
Mocktail | 650 | 780 | 20% |
Energy Drink | 900 | 1080 | 20% |
Ultra Boost | 1200 | 1440 | 20% |
Enhanced Soda | 1000 | 1200 | 20% |
Enhanced Tonic | 1500 | 1800 | 20% |
Enhanced Mocktail | 2200 | 2640 | 20% |
Enhanced Energy Drink | 3000 | 3600 | 20% |
Enhanced Ultra Boost | 5000 | 6000 | 20% |
As with farms, assigning a fighter to operate the production line, especially one with the right bonuses, can reduce production times, the amount of materials required, and so on. The amount the fighter can aid production depends on the strength and rarity of the fighter as well as their bonuses.
As with farms, if there is no fighter present at all, production will stop until a fighter is assigned to the production line.
The biolab is a very unique building. It allows players to attempt to cure zombies with serum, turning them into fighters. However, you will need serum as well as other fighters to donate their intact human DNA to have a chance at curing a zombie. If successful, a fighter will join your ranks, brought back from life as a zombie.
